1. Where are my spa party events held?

All my spa party events are held at your home or a venue of your choice. We are a full service mobile spa and we do the travelling so you don’t have to.

2. Should parents be at the party?

Yes - It is mandatory for the host parents to be at the party at all times. Other parents are welcome, upon the discretion of the party host.

3. Does my spa party supply all of the equipment needed for each party?

Our spa technicians will bring all of the supplies and equipment necessary to turn your space into a fabulous home spa. For liability reasons, we do not bring candles, but you may wish to do so. We do bring a CD player and spa music. However, if you would like specific music you are welcome to provide your own CDs.

4. How much space is needed?

In general, a medium to large living room, den, or similar area will suffice.

5. What is the approximate length of a spa party?

Parties are typically 2-4 hours long, depending upon the spa party services and/or creative activities. However, we may occasionally run over the allotted time. For this reason, we recommend asking parents to pick their children up at least 30 minutes after our scheduled end time.

6. What should the girls wear?

Anything they feel comfortable in - it is your own home, after all. If it is a themed party or slumber party, you may want the girls to come dressed to fit the theme. For all of our pedicures, we provide flip flops to allow the toenail polish to dry.

7. What forms of payment does myspaparty accept?

Payment by major credit card is preferred, but payment by cheque will also be accepted. If you wish to pay by cheque, please contact my spa party to arrange payment details. Payments by cheque must be completed prior to the event. A $25 fee will be charged on all cheques returned with nonsufficient funds.

8. What is your reservation/booking policy?

Although my spa party welcomes short notice bookings, to ensure availability and avoid disappointment, we recommend that you book your event a minimum of 4 weeks in advance for parties, and up to 8 weeks in advance for large-scale events. Our services can book up rapidly, often months in advance. Even if you do not have all of the details of the event, we recommend reserving your desired party date and time as soon as possible, to ensure availability. A $75.00 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spa party.

9. What is your cancelation policy?

my spa party requires a $75.00 non-refundable deposit by credit-card to hold your reservation. The balance will be charged 72 hours prior to your event. If for any reason you need to cancel your event, the following charges will apply: Greater than 14 days prior to your event – the $75.00 non-refundable deposit is forfeit. Cancellation between 14 days and 72 hours prior to your event – you will be responsible for 50% of the total party price unless we are able to fill your event time with another booking. Cancellation between 72 hours and 24 hours prior to your event – you are responsible for 75% of the total party price unless we are able to fill your event time with another booking. Cancellation within 24 hours of your event – 100% of the total party price will be charged. We will contact you at least 7 days in advance of the party to confirm the number of girls, their shoe sizes (for pedicures), the selected spa package, and any add ons.

10. Do the spa therapists accept tips?

To help take out any guesswork, we add a 15% gratuity on to all parties.

11. What are your hours of operation?

To request a quote and/or make an appointment, you can call my spa party Monday through Friday from 9am to 9pm, or fill out our online form and we will call you back within 24 hours. Our mobile spa party services are available everyday, from 8am to 11pm. Because we bring our services to your venue, we can offer a great deal of flexibility on date and time.

12. What is your service area?

We currently have 3 regional offices, located in Toronto, Waterloo and Muskoka, and we service most of Southern Ontario. All three of our offices are managed by local aestheticians, and are strategically located to help minimize travel costs to our clients. Travel fees will vary depending on area, and these go directly to our spa technicians to compensate for their travel time and vehicle expense.

13.What are your safety practices?

my spa party is extremely conscious of maintaining proper hygiene, and we take every care to ensure the highest possible standards of cleanliness. Wherever possible, we use disposable items such as nitrile gloves, nail files, foot files, orange wood sticks, and buffers in order to maintain this standard. Health Guidelines are followed with regards to sanitizing all aesthetics tools and equipment that are not disposable. We ask that parents fill out a consent form informing us in advance of any health concerns or allergies.

14. Are your treatments kid friendly?

ALL my spa party services and "treatments" are for ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES only. We do not use harsh chemicals and we do not provide expert opinion, treatment or advice on health and beauty to parents or children. Our services are for fun and party entertainment ONLY - not to be mistaken for professional spa treatments. All of our processes are initiated and completed with the health and safety of the girls always in mind.
